DRIVING

From Midtown Tunnel

Stay to far right when going through toll.
Exiting toll take immediate right (unnamed road) to Borden Ave.
Right on Borden.
Right on Vernon
Bear Right on to Jackson Ave.
Look for Right on to Pulaski Bridge
Coming off Pulaski take Right on Freeman to Manhattan Ave.
Right on Manhattan.
Take Manhattan to end.
Large brick building is GMDC. For the GMDC Office, use the 1205 Manhattan Ave entrance and take the elevator or stairs to the 5th Floor and follow the signs.

From Brooklyn and Williamsburg Bridges:

Take BQE to McGuinness Blvd exit.
Bear Left onto McGuinness
Follow McGuinness north.
Just before Pulaski Bridge, stay to Right (don't go over bridge) and go straight on frontage road.
Go all the way to end and bear left on Ash Street.
Follow one block to Manhattan.

Large brick building is GMDC. Look for parking. For the GMDC Office, use the 1205 Manhattan Ave entrance and take the elevator or stairs to the 5th Floor and follow the signs.

Exit at Greenpoint Ave; follow Greenpoint Avenue straight to McGuinnes Blvd,
Turn right on McGuinness Blvd.
Follow McGuinness Blvd to Java; make a left turn on Java onto Manhattan Ave (1 block). Make a right on Manhattan and go straight (North) to the dead end approximately 10 blocks. Look for the big brick building; enter thru the 1205 entrance for the GMDC Office.

Directions by #7 Subway:

Take #7 Train to Vernon / Jackson (if you are coming from Manhattan, this stop is the one just past Grand Central, the first stop in Queens).
Coming from Manhattan exit at the front of the train (from Queens exit at the rear), go through a turnstile, take the left stairs past the turnstile and you will come out onto Jackson Avenue facing the Citicorp tower.
Go one block on Jackson towards Citicorp and take a right onto the Pulaski Bridge pedestrian walkway.
Walk over the bridge, crossing over the vehicle entrance to the Midtown Tunnel and the Newtown Creek. If you look to your right at about 2 o'clock you'll see a large brick building with a tall smoke stack. That's where you are going.
After crossing the Creek (but while you are still on the bridge) on your right you'll see stairs leading down from the bridge.
Take the stairs down to street level, to Ash Street (Ash runs under the bridge and perpendicular to it).
At the bottom of the stairs, take a left on Ash.
Walk one block and you'll come to Manhattan Avenue -- the GMDC building is the large brick structure in front of you, the GMDC entrance is at 1205, take the elevator or stairs to the 5th Floor and follow the signs.
Total walking time: 10-15 minutes

Directions by G Train:

(n.b. From Manhattan the L Train connects with the G Train.)
Take G Train to Greenpoint Avenue stop and walk North along Manhattan Avenue to GMDC building at end of the Avenue.
For the GMDC Office, use the 1205 Manhattan Ave entrance and take the elevator or stairs to the 5th Floor and follow the signs.
Total walking time: 5-10 minutes.
